Here’s the story of how our own Sean Doran started his career with us.

Today we sat down with Sean Doran, an agent with Carbutti & Co. Realtors, to discuss how his life experiences led him to a full time career in real estate.

Hailing from Wallingford, Connecticut, Sean has an interesting background. He originally went to school for real estate and economics at the University of Connecticut before working for an appraiser for some time. Then he went back to school to get a nursing license and became a registered nurse. After working as a Realtor full time and a nurse part time, he decided to transition to real estate full time.

“His advice for those getting into real estate for the first time is, ‘Be ready for a full-time adventure.’”

Sean had multiple companies reach out to him to join their teams, but we had helped him sell his house, so he decided to join us. It took him some time to adjust to the business, but once those adjustments were made and he developed a pipeline of leads, he found success pretty quickly. In the first 40 days of 2022, Sean closed three deals and had four or five under contract.

Sean has found that access to leadership, training, lead generation, and marketing tools are what set Carbutti & Co. Realtors apart from the rest. His advice for those getting into real estate for the first time is, “Be ready for a full time adventure.”
